The Joy of Divine Mercy

“Then the Lord became jealous for his land and spared his people” ~ Joel 2:18 CSB

What a profound joy fills my heart to hear that the Lord, in His boundless mercy, chose to spare His people. This is truly good news! Even when we were deserving of punishment for our sins, the Lord, in His infinite grace, made the decision to spare us.

Reflecting further, I am deeply moved by the realization that, despite my own sins, disobedience, and rebellious ways, the Lord spared me through the shedding of His own precious blood. His sacrifice was the ultimate act of love and mercy, covering all my transgressions.

And today, this divine mercy continues. The Lord is still sparing His people, extending His grace and forgiveness to all who turn to Him. Let us rejoice in this incredible truth and give thanks for His enduring compassion and love.
