Welcome to my story

Rev. Feltus Christopher Frost entered the world on February 17, in Los Angeles, California, born to Feltus Elam III and Carol Frost Thomas (Calvin Thomas). Growing up, he displayed a deep passion for swimming, singing, acting, and church engagements. Following his graduation from Dorsey High School, he attended California State University Dominguez Hills, where he studied for his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science along with a minor in Public Administration. Currently, he has embarked on theological studies at the Los Angeles Bible Training School, with aspirations to pursue a seminary degree.

At the age of 18, he heeded the call to ministry and was licensed to preach in January 2006. Subsequently ordained by Pastor Jones in May 2008, Rev. Frost embarked on a short-term missionary journey in Conakry, Guinea, West Africa, for six weeks. Upon his return from his mission trip, he was elevated to the office of Youth Pastor of Messiah Baptist Church.

In 2012, he commenced his professional career with the YMCA, serving across four different locations nationwide.

In 2016 he experienced a period of spiritual drift. Late that summer, Rev. Frost joined Trinity Baptist Church, where Rev. Alvin Tunstill, Jr., ministers as Pastor, marking another significant chapter in his spiritual journey. He experienced a period of spiritual drift. However, in 2018, he seized a professional opportunity in Washington D.C. with the YMCA. Amidst the challenges of the global pandemic in the fall of 2020, Rev. Frost became a member of the historic Alfred Street Baptist Church, led by Rev. Dr. Howard-John Wesley, and is still actively engaged through virtual discipleship groups and Sunday school classes.

After prayerful consideration, Rev. Frost returned to his roots in Los Angeles, California, reuniting with Trinity Baptist Church under the pastoral care of Pastor Tunstill. In April 2023 he reconnected with Messiah Baptist Church, where Pastor Jones continues to lead as Senior Pastor, and where Rev. Frost serves as preacher/teacher of the ministerial team.

Committed to following and serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Rev. Frost remains steadfast in his dedication, empowered by the sweet Holy Spirit.

“My eager expectation and hope is that I will not be ashamed about anything, but that now as always, with all courage, Christ will be highly honored in my body, whether by life or by death.” - Philippians 4:20 CSB
